History

Transport yourself to the vibrant era of 1898 in America, marked by the Alaska Gold Rush, the annexation of the Republic of Hawaii, and the Spanish-American War. In July 1898, the United States formally annexed the Republic of Hawaii, which had previously been a U.S. protectorate. The annexation was controversial and had been a subject of debate for several years.
