Obverse
On the obverse side of the 2011-W 1 oz Proof American Eagle Coin is the timeless image of Walking Liberty. Walking towards the sun, Liberty is seen holding oak branches and is draped in the American flag. Inscriptions read LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and 2011.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2011-W Proof American Silver Eagle Coin showcases the heraldic eagle design from US Mint Chief Engraver John Mercanti. This design shows the eagle with its wings spread and with a shield in front of its chest. Inscriptions include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, W, 1 OZ. FINE SILVER, and ONE DOLLAR.

The American Silver Eagle set new sales records for the fourth consecutive year in 2011. Notably, the bullion coin numbers soared to 34.7 million, a significant rise from 30.5 million in 2010. The 2011 Proof American Silver Eagle contributed to this success, boasting one of the highest mintage levels in the program’s history and contributing to the total sales figure of 40.02 million American Silver Eagles for the year. The United States Mint introduced unique offerings in 2011, including the burnished American Silver Eagle, with 409,000 struck and an additional 99,000 at the San Francisco Mint. Additionally, 99,000 reverse proof coins were struck at the Philadelphia Mint, exclusively available as part of the American Eagle 25th Anniversary Silver Coin Set.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
