{{/presale}}Cast gold bars are an easy, affordable way to invest in gold. Representative of traditional refining methods, cast gold bars are a format of gold bullion that has been around for thousands of years. Even today, national governments store gold bullion in the form of cast gold bars. BGASC currently has 1 Kilo Gold Cast Bars from Valcambi Suisse available to you for purchase online.
Highlights:
When you purchase one of the 1 Kilo Gold Cast Bars in this product listing, BGASC has the bars available inside of individual packaging. The bars are housed inside of plastic assay card packages. Each one of the bars is available in brand-new condition and has rough visual elements as a result of its cast production process.
Obverse
On the obverse side of the 1 Kilo Gold Cast Bar are inscriptions of the bars weight, purity, and metal content. Those markings are inscribed as 1 Kg, Gold, 999,9. The name Valcambi Suisse is inscribed on the top of the design field near the swirling logo of the Swiss refinery. There is also a mark from the assayer and an individual serial number at the bottom. The serial numbers are inscribed in two-letter, five-number codes.
Reverse
The reverse face of 1 Kilo Gold Cast Bars comes with a blank field. Most cast gold bars are produced by pouring melted gold into a prefabricated mold to form the shape of the bar. As a result, only one face of the bar is accessible to inscribe designs and identifying markers.
History
Cast gold bars are more affordable, by weight, than their minted ingot counterparts. Generally speaking, it is also more affordable to purchase a single 1 Kilo gold bar compared to buying 32 individual 1 oz gold bars because premiums tend to go down as the weight of a gold bullion piece goes up.
Valcambi Suisse is one of Switzerlands oldest refining operations. The company was founded in 1961 by a group of businessmen and entrepreneurs from Mendrisio, Switzerland. The company was first known as Valori & Cambi. The company combined the names to get Valcambi in 1967 and eventually became known as Valcambi Suisse following Credit Suisses 100% acquisition of the company.
