Diwali, often referred to as Deepavali, is one of the most celebrated festivals in the Hindu calendar, representing the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. This ancient festival has origins that date back thousands of years. Right now, you can find 1 oz Asahi Diwali Silver Bars available at BGASC.

Highlights:

  • Comes with a sealed assay card!
  • Diwali-themed card!
  • Contains 1 Troy oz of .999 pure silver.
  • Obverse features the Asahi emblem and identifying hallmarks.
  • Reverse features the Hindu deities Lakshmi and Ganesha.

All 1 oz Asahi Diwali Silver Bars available here are new products from Asahi Refining. Each bar comes sealed in an assay card with a special red card designed for the Diwali celebration.

Obverse

The obverse side of the Asahi Diwali Silver Bar displays the Asahi logo at the top, alongside key identifying hallmarks. These details ensure the bar’s authenticity and quality.

Reverse

On the reverse side of 1 oz Diwali Silver Bars, you will find the figures of Lakshmi and Ganesha. Their presence during Diwali reflects the festival’s emphasis on both material and spiritual prosperity. Lakshmi signifies wealth, while Ganesha represents wisdom and the ability to overcome obstacles.

History

The word “Diwali” comes from the Sanskrit “Deepavali,” which means “row of lamps.” The festival is celebrated by lighting small oil lamps, or “diyas,” and placing them in homes and on windowsills. This custom symbolizes the victory of light over the darkness of ignorance.
