Queen Elizabeth II is on the obverse of Australian Wedge Tail Eagle Silver Coins. Her Majesty is depicted in right-profile relief in both possible designs, with Ian Rank-Broadleys design on 2014-2017 coins and Jody Clarks design on coins from 2018 to present.
Reverse
Wedge Tail Eagles are featured in the reverse design of all 1 oz Wedge Tail Eagle Silver Coins. The coins issued from 2018 onward each have a new reverse design from John Mercanti. His 2014 design was repeated in 2015, and his 2016 design was repeated in 2017.
History
Wedge-tailed Eagles mate for life and form long-lasting pairs. They build large stick nests in tall trees or on cliffs, which they use for several breeding seasons. Females typically lay one or two eggs per breeding season, which are incubated for around 45 days. Both parents take turns incubating the eggs and caring for the young. Juvenile eagles may stay with their parents for up to a year before becoming independent.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
