Each 1 oz The Lost World Collection Stegosaurus Silver Round is proudly made in the United States. These exquisite rounds are crafted with 1 Troy ounce of .999 pure silver. You have the option to purchase them individually in protective plastic flips, or in multiples of 20 rounds packed in acrylic tubes, and for larger quantities, you can opt for boxes containing 500 rounds, with each box holding 25 tubes.
Just like all the captivating creatures in the Lost World Collection, the Stegosaurus design is featured in right-profile relief on the obverse. In keeping with the collection’s tradition, herbivores are showcased in right-profile relief, while carnivores are depicted in left-profile relief on the obverse.
Obverse
The obverse of the Lost World Collection Stegosaurus Silver Round boasts an impressive effigy of the upper torso of the Stegosaurus. Its tail, adorned with a striking array of spikes, has been humorously dubbed the “thagomizer,” a term first coined by cartoonist Gary Larson in his iconic comic strip “The Far Side” in 1982.
Reverse
On the reverse side of the 1 oz Stegosaurus Silver Round, you’ll find the distinguished Lost World Collection emblem at the center. Surrounding the field are intricate footprints, all set against a lush, tropical backdrop, completing the awe-inspiring design.
History
Despite its imposing appearance, the Stegosaurus was not a fast-moving dinosaur. Its heavy body and short legs likely limited its speed to a slow walk or a leisurely pace, making it an easier target for predators. However, the formidable plates and spikes on its back and tail helped to offset this disadvantage.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
