These 10 oz Argentia Medusa Rounds are available to order in brand-new condition. Each piece has a live-edge aesthetic along with beautiful ultra-high relief visuals. Produced by Argentia Precious Metals, these rounds will be delivered in mylar sleeves sealed with holographic adhesives.
Obverse
Upon the obverse of this 10 oz Medusa Silver Round is the official logo for Argentia Precious Metals. Featured on all designs in this collection, this emblem contains a stylized triangular shape and the word Argentia. The obverse also features the identifying hallmarks along with a decorative background pattern.
Reverse
Across the reverse of 10 oz Argentia Silver Rounds the face of Medusa is revealed. In this ultra-high relief rendition, the Gorgon is shown facing left. Her eyes have a cold, eerie quality to them as slithering snakes protrude from her head.
History
In his Theogony, Hesiod claims that Medusa and her sisters were Gorgons. This word means something like fierce or terrible and is often associated with a creature bearing a head full of snakes. Hesiod also describes the fate of Medusa at the hands of Perseus, who cuts off her head using a sword called Harpe. This act of violence led to the birth of both Chrysaor and the winged horse Pegasus.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
