The reverse side of 1871-S $20 Liberty Gold Double Eagle showcases the Great Seal of the United States, portraying an eagle in front-facing relief with a large US national shield, arrows of war, olive branch of peace, and rays of light extending from wingtip to wingtip, surrounded by a ring of 13 stars.
