Obverse
The obverse of the 1883-O Silver Dollar displays a unique portrayal of Lady Liberty, inspired by Anna Williams, a Philadelphia school teacher. Liberty is adorned with a Phrygian cap and surrounded by 13 stars. Inscriptions include 1883, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and LIBERTY.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 1883-O Morgan Dollar Coin, George T. Morgan’s heraldic eagle takes flight, clutching a bundle of arrows and an olive branch in its talons. Inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ONE DOLLAR, and IN GOD WE TRUST.
History
George T. Morgan’s design of the Morgan Silver Dollar has stood the test of time, as these coins made their debut in 1878. The New Orleans Mint contributed to its rich history from 1879 to 1904. In 1921, these coins made a brief return, produced at the Philadelphia Mint, San Francisco Mint, and Denver Mint.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
