During the mid-1880s, the Philadelphia Mint experienced a notable increase in the production of Morgan Silver Dollars. In 1885, they struck a total of 17,787,000 coins, making it the leading mint for this particular year.
All 1885 Morgan Silver Dollars are in Mint State 65 condition and come in NGC plastic slabs, displaying a high-quality mint luster. Please note that there may be some minor contact marks, hairlines, and light scuff marks on these coins.
On the obverse side of the 1885 Morgan Dollar, you’ll find a depiction of Lady Liberty. She’s portrayed in a left-profile view with a Phrygian cap, a coronet crown, a laurel wreath in her hair, 13 stars, and a date mark.
The reverse of the 1885 Morgan Silver Dollar Coins features the heraldic eagle, an iconic design created by George T. Morgan. The eagle is shown with wings outstretched, holding arrows of war and an olive branch of peace.

All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
