Highlights:
All 1885-O Morgan Silver Dollar Coins are available in Mint State 64 condition. Coins with this grade exhibit average mint luster for their age, displaying several small contact marks grouped together, as well as one or two moderate marks. You may also find one or two small patches of hairlines.
Obverse
The obverse of the 1885-O Morgan Dollar features the left-profile relief image of Lady Liberty. This design, created by George T. Morgan, portrays Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap, with a laurel wreath and coronet crown adorning her hair.
Reverse
On the reverse side, you’ll find the heraldic eagle of the United States, also designed by Morgan. This depiction presents an eagle in front-facing relief, gripping the arrows of war and the olive branch of peace in its talons.
History
The New Orleans Mint issued more than 91 million Morgan Silver Dollars from 1880 to 1889. The volume produced at New Orleans grew year-over-year almost every year, with demand following a general upward trend throughout the decade. The highest mintage came in 1888 when New Orleans struck some 12.150 million Morgan Dollars.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
