These 1885-O Morgan Silver Dollar Coins are in Mint State 65 condition, displaying attractive and high-quality luster. They may exhibit a few small, scattered contact marks or two larger marks, with the possibility of one or two small patches of hairlines.
Obverse
The obverse side of the 1885-O Morgan Dollar showcases a left-profile relief of Lady Liberty. Designed by George T. Morgan, the image portrays Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap, with a laurel wreath and coronet crown adorning her hair.
Reverse
On the reverse side of the 1885 Morgan Silver Dollar Coin, you’ll find the image of the heraldic eagle. This design, also by Morgan, depicts an eagle facing forward, clutching arrows and an olive branch in its talons.
History
The 1885 Morgan Silver Dollar had different mintmarks based on the minting facility. The coins minted in Philadelphia did not have a mintmark, while those minted in New Orleans had an “O” mintmark and those minted in San Francisco had an “S” mintmark. Coins from the Carson City Mint include a “CC” mint mark. The mintmark can be found on the reverse side of the coin, below the eagle.

All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
