These coins are an integral part of the esteemed Morgan Silver Dollar Series, meticulously designed by George T. Morgan, a renowned US Mint Engraver. Originally from England, Morgan joined the US Mint in 1876 and left an indelible mark on numismatic history with his creation of the iconic Morgan Silver Dollar design. His exceptional talent led him to become the Chief Engraver of the United States Mint until his passing in 1925.

At BGASC, we offer the 1887 Morgan Silver Dollar Coins in splendid MS64 condition. Coins with this grade may exhibit a few small contact marks clustered in groups, with one or two moderate marks, and the possibility of one or two minor patches of hairlines.
Obverse
On the obverse side of the 1887 Morgan Dollar Coins, you will be captivated by the left-profile bust of Lady Liberty. She adorns a Phrygian cap, a laurel wreath, and a coronet crown, symbolizing her timeless beauty and grace.
Reverse
Flipping the coin to its reverse side, you will discover the resplendent heraldic eagle of the United States, also designed by George T. Morgan. The eagle is presented in front-facing relief, with its wings outstretched, holding the arrows of war and the olive branch of peace in its talons.
History
During the 1880s, the Morgan Dollar Series experienced its most productive period of coin production. The Philadelphia Mint was responsible for minting over 152 million coins throughout the decade. Among these, the highest mintages were achieved by the 1889, 1887, and 1886 coins, in that order.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
