These 1888-O Morgan Silver Dollar Coins are available in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition. Each coin is shipped in protective plastic flips, and groups of 20 may be available in tubes when in stock. Morgan Silver Dollars are valued for their history and iconic American designs.
Obverse
The obverse of the 1888-O Morgan Dollar Coin displays a left-profile portrait of Lady Liberty, designed by George T. Morgan. Liberty is adorned with a Phrygian cap, a coronet crown, and a laurel wreath, surrounded by 13 stars and the date.
Reverse
On the reverse, the 1888-O Morgan Silver Dollar features the heraldic eagle. This American bald eagle has its wings spread wide, clutching arrows in one talon and an olive branch in the other, representing both strength and peace.
History
The New Orleans Mint produced Morgan Silver Dollars from 1879 to 1904, after reopening in the post-Civil War era. The mint was active almost every year in that period, except for the initial release in 1878 and the final 1921 issue. In 1888, the New Orleans Mint struck 12.150 million Morgan Dollars, while Philadelphia led production with over 19 million coins.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
