Every 1889 Morgan Silver Dollar Coin available at BGASC is in MS64 condition. Coins in this condition display an average mint luster with several small contact marks in groups and one or two moderate marks. They may also exhibit one or two small patches of hairlines and noticeable scuff marks.
Obverse

History
In 1889, the Morgan Silver Dollars were issued by four branches of the United States Mint. The Philadelphia Mint and New Orleans Mint played a significant role, with the Philadelphia Mint striking an impressive 21.726 million coins, accounting for nearly half of the total volume of Morgan Dollars that year. New Orleans issued the next highest volume in 1889 at 11.875 million coins.
