Every 1892-CC $10 Liberty Gold Eagle Coin arrives in a PCGS protective plastic slab and holds an AU50 grade from the coin grading provider. AU50 coins have wear patterns that are extremely light and limited to the highest relief points on the coin. These coins also have medium or near-full mint luster.
Obverse
Lady Liberty graces the obverse field of each 1892-CC Liberty Gold Eagle Coin, depicted in left-profile relief with a coronet crown and surrounded by 13 stars. Inscriptions read 1892, and LIBERTY.
Reverse
On the reverse side of the 1892-CC $10 Liberty Eagle Coin, you’ll find a majestic heraldic eagle in front-facing relief, clutching an olive branch and arrows, with a national shield on its chest. This iconic design was also created by Christian Gobrecht in 1838. Inscriptions include IN GOD WE TRUST, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, CC, and TEN D.
History
These historic coins were minted at the legendary Carson City Mint, a now-defunct branch of the United States Mint. The Carson City Mint operated from 1870 to 1885, briefly closed and then reopened in 1889 until its closure in 1893. This makes coins with the CC mint mark a rare find for any investor or collector.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
