History
Production of Morgan Silver Dollars for circulation in 1898 was relatively level across the three active branches striking the coins. While Philadelphia did strike more than the others, the production across the three was 5.884 million at Philadelphia, 4.44 million at New Orleans, and 4.102 million at San Francisco.
