{{/presale}}The Morgan Silver Dollar was minted by the United States Mint from 1878 to 1904, with a final release in 1921. Among its branches, the New Orleans Mint played a significant role in producing these iconic coins, missing only two dates throughout the entire series. Currently, you can find the 1902-O Morgan Silver Dollar Coins available at BGASC.
Highlights:
Each 1902-O Morgan Silver Dollar Coin is available in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The coins come individually packaged in protective plastic flips, and when ordering multiples, sets of 20 coins will be shipped in protective tubes.
Obverse
On the obverse side, the 1902-O Morgan Dollar features the image of Lady Liberty, as designed by George T. Morgan. Liberty is shown in left-profile relief, wearing a Phrygian cap, a coronet crown, and a laurel wreath. The field surrounding her includes 13 stars and the date.
Reverse
The reverse of the 1902-O Morgan Silver Dollar displays the heraldic eagle. This design features the American bald eagle in a front-facing view, with its wings spread and its talons clutching arrows representing war and an olive branch symbolizing peace.
History
The New Orleans Mint has a rich history in the production of Morgan Silver Dollars. The series was struck annually from 1878 to 1904, and following a 17-year gap in the minting of silver dollars, the Morgan Dollar returned for one year in 1921. The New Orleans Mint issued coins every year from 1879 to 1904, having reopened after the Civil War and Reconstruction in 1879, but it closed in 1909. As a result, it did not mint coins in 1878 or 1921.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
BGASC is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
