Each 1902-O Morgan Dollar Coin was designed with care and precision by the prestigious United States Mint. The coins consist of 90% silver and are recognized by the U.S. as legal tender. Upon arrival, you will find your coin in its original NGC slab.
Obverse
On the obverse of 1902-O Morgan Silver Dollars we find Lady Liberty in portrait. This neo-classical rendition is considered the finest engraving from George T. Morgan. It features Ms. Liberty in left-profile relief as she dons a crown of wheat and Phrygian cap. The year of mintage also features below the effigy.
Reverse
The reverse of the Morgan Silver Dollar Coin offers an intriguing glimpse of the heraldic American eagle. Also designed by Morgan, this motif shows the bird with open wings as it carries symbolic arrows and an olive branch in its talons. Traditionally, these have represented Americas wars and the peace she strives to attain.
History
The New Orleans Mint initially opened its doors in 1838 to help mitigate a fiscal crisis that included a domestic coin shortage. It operated successfully until 1861, at which point it closed its doors while the country engaged in civil war. Then, following the Bland-Allison Act of 1878, the mint re-opened and enjoyed three decades of production before permanently closing in 1909.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
