History
In 1913, the United States Mint issued the Indian Gold Half Eagle at the Philadelphia Mint and the San Francisco Mint. The historical significance of the 1913-S Indian Gold Half Eagle lies in its low original mintage at the San Francisco Mint, making it the ninth rarest among the 24 circulation strikes for the Indian Half Eagle in Mint State condition.
