Reverse

On the reverse side of 1922 Peace Silver Dollars, de Francisci illustrated a bald eagle at rest on an olive branch. This design represents the nations aspiration for peace after World War I, capturing a tranquil scene with the eagles calm posture and rays of light emanating from the coin’s edge.
