History
The 1927 release of $20 Saint-Gaudens Gold Double Eagles was the last to feature coins from Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco in the same year. The 1928 and 1929 issues were struck only by the Philadelphia Mint, while 1930 coins were struck only by San Francisco. The 1931 release featured coins from Philadelphia and Denver, with the 1932 and 1933 coins again only issued by Philadelphia.
