Each set of the 1986-2023 American Silver Eagle 39-Coin Sets, available right here at BGASC, is carefully packaged in individual plastic slabs for each coin. These coins have all been awarded Mint State 69 certifications and boast their full, original mint luster, with no more than two minor detractions, such as minuscule contact marks or hairlines, which are found outside the primary focal points.
Obverse
On the obverse of each 1 oz Silver Eagle Coin within this 39-coin set, you’ll find the elegant depiction of Walking Liberty. This design, crafted by Adolph A. Weinman in 1916, was originally featured on the US Half Dollar until 1947.
Reverse
The reverse side of the American Silver Eagle boasts an image of the American bald eagle. Coins in this set, dating from 1986 to mid-2021, display the heraldic eaglean emblem with the bald eagle supporting the US national shield. Coins issued from mid-2021 onward exhibit the new portrayal of a bald eagle in left-profile relief, gracefully swooping into view while clutching an oak branch in its talons.
History
Initially, the American Silver Eagle sported a reverse design by John Mercanti, featuring the heraldic eaglea symbol of our republic. However, in mid-2021, a new portrayal of the bald eagle by Emily Damstra was introduced, marking the 35th anniversary of this iconic series.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
