Obverse
The obverse of the 2 oz Goddesses Gefion Cast Silver Bars includes essential details stamped into a rustic surface. Youll find the Germania Mint logo here, along with the bars weight, purity, and metal content. Theres also a serial number that uniquely identifies each bar.
Reverse
On the reverse, the Germania Mint features a colorized portrait of Gefion. Her figure is shown in front-facing detail, with rich red and orange highlights on her clothing and helmet. While often associated with fertility, Gefion also has links to virginity, a duality that has puzzled many. History
Today, Gefions influence remains strong in Scandinavia. One of the most famous tributes to her is the Gefion Fountain in Copenhagen, Denmark. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
