{{/presale}}The French Gold Rooster Coin is a beautiful gold coin minted in France with a 20 Franc face value and 0.1867 troy ounces of actual gold weight (approximately 5.8 grams). Also known as “le Coq Gaulois” (the Gallic Rooster), this gold coin from the French Mint had a mintage of 117,448,888 containing dates from 1899 to 1914. The obverse of the 20 Francs Marianne Rooster gold coin features the portrait of Marianne, a representation of liberty and reason. This laureat portrait is surrounded by the inscription “Republique Franaise”. The reverse of the 20 Francs Rooster gold coin is the Gallic Rooster, a national symbol of France. The inscriptions on the reverse are “LIBERTE EGALITE FRATERNITE”, a French slogan meaning Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity. Also inscribed at the bottom of the Gold Rooster coin is the denomination of “20 FCS” and the year of minting. This gorgeous and historically rich gold coin also has a feature that makes it stand out: edge lettering. There are 2 variations of the edge lettering on the French Gold Rooster Coin: “DIEU PROTEGE LA FRANCE” which can be found on coins bearing dates of 1899-1904 and “LIBERTE EGALITE FRATERNITE” on coins dated 1905-1914. The 20 Francs Gold Rooster became such a popular coin that the Monnaie de Paris issued re-strikes of dates 1907 to 1914 in 1921 and again from 1951 to 1960.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
