Obverse
Lady Liberty has been the leading mascot of the Gold Double Eagle along with the American bald Eagle for a very long time. She makes another stunning appearance on the obverse face of the Pre-33 $20 Liberty Gold Double Eagle Coin. Only her head is depicted in a left-facing portrait with a coronet upon her head. It is inscribed with the word Liberty. On the rim of the obverse face, you will find 13 stars meant to represent the 13 colonies as well as the year in which the coin was minted.
Reverse
For the reverse face of thePre-33 $20 Liberty Gold Double Eagle Coin, the Great Seal of the United States. It showcases an eaglegripping onto arrows and an olive branch with its talons while wearing ashield across its chest. In God We Trust is engraved above its head, along with the otherinscription that reads United States of America as well as the $20 face value marking.
