Each of the 2012 1 oz Australian Silver Koala Coins available here comes in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The coins are housed in plastic capsules for delivery and had a final sales figure of 388,046 coins.
In 2015, the Perth Mint issued the 1 oz Silver Koala for the final time with a mint-to-order approach, meaning it would strike the coins to match demand from investors in any given year. As a result of the lack of a mintage cap, the 2012 coin experienced sales that exceeded the cap of 300,000 coins that Perth Mint now uses for the Australian Silver Koala.
Queen Elizabeth II is on the obverse of 2012 Australian Silver Koala Coins. This design shows Her Majesty in right-profile relief wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara. Created in 1998 by Ian Rank-Broadley, this effigy was used on Australian coins from 1998 to 2018, for most programs.
A koala is depicted lounging on a tree branch in the reverse design of the 2012 1 oz Silver Koala. This visual shows the koala taking a nap along the length of the branch as its limbs dangle down below its frame.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
