The obverse of the 2013 Australian Silver Lunar Snake Coin hosts the regal likeness of Queen Elizabeth II, expertly captured in meticulous right-profile relief by esteemed sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley. Reverse
A magnificent, coiled snake takes center stage on the reverse of this 2013 5 oz Australian Lunar Snake Coin. The snake slithers around a tree branch in right-profile relief. To the right, you’ll find the respected “P” mintmark confirming the Perth Mint’s exceptional craftsmanship, along with the traditional Chinese character representing the snake. Inscriptions include P and YEAR OF THE SNAKE.
History
The Lunar Series was first launched in 1996 for gold coins, with silver following a few years later in 1999. After completing Series I in 2007, Series II debuted in 2008. The Perth Mint is now issuing the current Series III in sizes ranging from a massive 10 kilogram to fractional 1/2 oz weights.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
