{{/presale}}This Brilliant Uncirculated Harpers Ferry National Historical Park Five Ounce Silver Bullion Coin is the third of 2016 and the 33rd overall in the America the Beautiful Coins Program. The reverse design of this silver bullion coin depicts John Brown Fort, the site of John Brown’s last stand during his raid on the Harper’s Ferry Armory. John Brown’s raid on Harpers Ferry was an attempt by the white abolitionist John Brown to start an armed slave revolt in 1859 by seizing a United States arsenal at Harpers Ferry, Virginia. Inscriptions are “HARPERS FERRY,” “WEST VIRGINIA,” “2016,” and “E PLURIBUS UNUM.” The reverse was designed by AIP artist Thomas Hipschen and sculpted by United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver Phebe Hemphill.

Coin Highlights
The 5 oz silver America The Beautiful Coins (ATB’s) all resemble a Washington quarter but are significantly larger (76.20 millimeter diameter) and contain 99.9% silver at a weight of 155.5 grams. Each coin depicts a United States National Park on the reverse and John Flanagan’s 1932 portrait of George Washington on the obverse. Inscriptions on the obverse are UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and QUARTER DOLLAR. The edges of these 5 oz silver bullion coins are smooth and contain the incused inscription: .999 FINE SILVER 5.0 OUNCE. The coin will be sent to you in a protective Capsule.
Quantities of 10 will ship in unopened mint tubes and Capsules will be included with your order.
When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
