After designing some lesser-known images on United States Mint coins, Emily Danstra came up with the new striking imagery for the American Silver Eagle Series. This new design of a bald eagle in flight will be the new reverse face of Silver Eagles going forward. Today, BGASC is happy to bring you 2021 1 oz American Silver Eagle Type 2 Coins for purchase.
Highlights:
2021 1 oz American Silver Eagle Type 2 Coins will be encapsulated in NGC protective plastic slabs. All coins in this listing are graded MS70 by the NGC. MS70 coins are perfect specimens with no post-production imperfections. They also feature their full, original mint luster.
Obverse
Adolph A. Weinmans striking Walking Liberty design is showcased on the obverse field of all 2021 1 oz Silver Eagle Type 2 Coins. This image shows Liberty with the American flag draped over her shoulder walking towards the sunset. Inscriptions include LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, 2021, and AW.
Reverse
The brand-new Emily Danstra design of the flying bald eagle is shown on the reverse. This new image shows the bald eagle in flight with its wings behind its back clutching an oak branch. Identifying marks surround the coin. Inscriptions on this field read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ONE DOLLAR, 1 OZ, FINE SILVER, and E PLURIBUS UNUM.
History
The combined mintage of American Silver Eagles has not dipped below 10 million since 2005. This ever-popular series continues to grow and now ushers in a new era of fans with its brand-new reverse design. Type 1 Coins in 2021 feature the heraldic eagle of John Mercanti while Type 2 coins and beyond depict the new flying bald eagle.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
