Obverse
On the obverse, you’ll find the timeless Walking Liberty design by Adolph A. Weinman, created in 1916. Liberty is depicted in left-profile relief, walking towards the sun with branches of oak and laurel in her hands, and the American flag draped around her figure.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2021-S 1 oz Proof Silver Eagle features a new design by Emily Damstra, showcasing the American bald eagle in flight with a large oak branch in its talons. This design is common to all versions of the 2021 Type 2 Silver Eagle.
History
Starting in 2018, the US Mint resumed regular issuance of S-Proof American Silver Eagles. These coins have gained increased collectible appeal due to lower production volumes at the San Francisco Mint compared to the West Point Mint in most years. The 2021-S Proof Type 2 continues this tradition, following the 2020-S Proof Silver Eagle, as no 2021-S Proof Type 1 coin was issued.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
