The reverse of the 2022-W 1 oz Proof Gold Eagle Coin showcases the new American Eagle portrait introduced in 2021, designed by Jennie Norris. This incredibly detailed side-profile rendering of a bald eagle is surrounded by inscriptions confirming weight, purity, and face value. History
First issued in 1986, the American Proof Gold Eagle is annually released across four sizes: 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1/10 oz. These coins have been issued every year since their release, with the exception of 2009 due to economic uncertainty. Notably, just the 1 oz coin was introduced in 1986. The 1/2 oz coin was introduced the following year, followed by the other 2 fractional weights in 1988.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
