The obverse of the 2023 1/10 oz Gold Britannia Coin showcases a left-profile portrait of King Charles III, crafted by Martin Jennings. Unlike the traditional images of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, King Charles is depicted without a crown, symbolizing a new era. Inscriptions read CHARLES III, D.G.REX.F.D, 10 POUNDS, and MJ.
Reverse
The reverse side of the 2023 1/10 oz British Britannia Coin features the classic Britannia design by Philip Nathan. Britannia stands with her trident and Union Jack shield, adorned in a Corinthian helmet, looking resolute and strong. Inscriptions include BRITANNIA, 999.9 FINE GOLD, 1/10 OZ, and 2023.
History
British Gold Britannia Coins were first introduced in 1987, followed by the silver version in 1997. In 2013, The Royal Mint enhanced the coins’ purity to .9999 gold and .999 silver. Over the years, the obverse has featured four different designs: three depicting Queen Elizabeth II and now the first of King Charles III.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
