BGASC offers you this 2023 1/2 oz American Gold Eagle Coin with a plastic slab and a grade of Mint State 70. Considered a perfect specimen, these coins come with full, original mint luster and have no detracting flaws of any kind present. The Early Release designation indicates each coin was received by the NGC for certification within 30 days of release from the mint.
Obverse
The obverse side of the 2023 American Gold Eagle coin features Lady Liberty. This historic design from Augustus Saint-Gaudens was created in 1907 for the United States Mint and is widely regarded by numismatists as the greatest American coin design of all time.
Reverse
On the reverse field of the 2023 1/2 oz Gold Eagle is a new depiction of the American bald eagle. First released in mid-2021, this new design made its debut as part of the 35th anniversary of the series and offers a close-up glimpse of the bald eagles head in left-profile relief.
History
The change to a new reverse design of the American bald eagle in 2021 was groundbreaking for this series. The only change of any kind prior to this was the change in 1992 from Roman numerals for the date marks to Arabic numerals. The new reverse marks the first major design element change in the programs history.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
