All-American Comics #16 holds a significant place in comic history as the herald of Green Lantern’s first appearance. Conceived by Martin Nodell in 1940, this creation ignited the enduring legacy of the Green Lantern. Pristine copies of this comic have been valued at over $1 million, and a graded copy of 6.5/10 fetched $215,000 in 2018. It is estimated that fewer than 100 copies exist today.
