Obverse
Queen Elizabeth II is featured on the obverse of 2023 Australian Lunar Rabbit Gold Coins. In this right-profile effigy, the Queen is shown at the age of 89 wearing the George IV State Diadem. This design was created in 2015 by Jody Clark and is the definitive, final portrait of the Queen to grace British and Australian coins. Inscriptions include ELIZABETH II, AUSTRALIA, 10 OZ 9999 AU, and 1000 DOLLARS.
Reverse
In the reverse field of the 2023 Lunar Rabbit 10 oz Gold Coin, you will find a portrait of a rabbit. In this playful design, the rabbit is gleefully running through a field. Ing Ing Jong created this design for the 2023 Year of the Rabbit at Perth Mint. Inscriptions include RABBIT, 2023, the Chinese symbol for a rabbit, and the P mint mark of Perth Mint.
History
Ing Ing Jong has worked with Perth Mint since 2011 and created her first lunar-themed design in 2013 for the Year of the Snake in the Lunar Series II collection. This year, she is the lone creator for the series. Her gold design features on the platinum coin as well, while she also created the silver image.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
