The obverse of this 2023 5 oz Antique Gods of Olympus Ares Silver Coin features the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, created by Ian Rank-Broadley, in right-profile relief. Adorned with the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland diamond tiara, Her Majesty’s image is surrounded by unique identifying marks of the coin. These marks include QUEEN ELIZABETH II, 5 OZ 9999 AG, 2023, TUVALU, 5 DOLLARS, IRB, and 1952-2022.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 2023 Antique Tuvalu Gods of Olympus Ares Silver Coin, you’ll find the awe-inspiring depiction of Ares, the god of war, commanding the battlefield with his shield and spear in hand. The intricate design captures the essence of his strength and bravery. Inscriptions read ARES.
History
Ares, the god of war and courage in Greek mythology, was a deity of much disdain among his peers. His lovers are dependent on which story you read, however, his most well-known is fellow god, Aphrodite. Upon Hephaestus discovering the affair, he traps the lovers in a net and exposes them, much to the ridicule of the other gods.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
