PR69 coins exhibit full, original mint luster with no more than two minor imperfections, typically small contact marks or hairlines outside the primary focal areas. First Strike designation is granted to coins graded within 30 days of their mint release.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2023-S Proof Peace Dollar showcases a left-profile bust of Lady Liberty, wearing a radiant crown and with her hair flowing freely.
Reverse
On the reverse side, the 2023-S Proof Peace Silver Dollar features the iconic American bald eagle, wings at rest, perched on a rocky cliff, holding an olive branch. The horizon is bathed in the first light of day as the eagle gazes toward a new dawn.
History
Anthony de Francisci designed the Peace Silver Dollars in 1921. Although the Morgan Dollar design briefly returned in 1921, public sentiment demanded a fresh design reflecting the peace of the post-war era. De Francisci’s design masterfully captures this concept of peace.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
