After 20 years of just BU and proof versions, burnished versions were welcomed for the 20th anniversary. Burnished coins in this iconic series have been minted every year since, with the exception of 2009-2010. 2023-W 1 oz Burnished American Silver Eagle Coins are now available for purchase, on BGASC.com.

To ensure the utmost protection and preservation, each 2023-W 1 oz Burnished American Silver Eagle is securely encapsulated in NGC protective plastic slabs. These coins are graded as MS70, indicating their perfect specimens and showcasing their full, original mint luster. There will also be no detractions of any kind. The First Day of Issue designation confirms that these coins were received by NGC within 24 hours of the US Mint’s initial release.
Obverse
The obverse side of the 2023-W 1 oz Burnished Silver Eagles showcases the iconic Walking Liberty design by Adolph A. Weinman. With grace and confidence, Liberty strides toward the sun, draped in the American flag and holding oaken branches Inscriptions include LIBERTY, AW, 2023, and IN GOD WE TRUST.
Reverse
Featuring the stunning flying eagle design by Emily Damstra, the reverse of the 2023-W Burnished American Silver Eagles introduces a new chapter in the series. This majestic flying eagle clutches an oak branch in its talons. Surrounding the eagle are the coin’s identifying marks, completing the striking design. Inscriptions on this field include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, W, ONE DOLLAR, FINE SILVER, and 1 OZ.
History
American Silver Eagles have a combined mintage totaling over 500 million since their debut. They hit a peak of nearly 50 million back in 2015. While mintage has dropped since then, they remain one of the most popular choices for numismatists.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
