History
In 1986, the US Mint introduced the American Gold Eagle, marking not only the return of US gold coins since 1933 but also the release of the purest gold coin from the US Mint since 1834. Back in 1834, the gold content in US circulation coins dropped to 89.93%. In 1838, it was raised to .900 and remained at that level until 1933 when gold coin production was suspended. American Gold Eagle bullion coins are 22-karat gold coins.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
