All of these 2024 1/2 oz American Gold Eagle Tubes contain coins in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. Each acrylic tube holds a total of 40 individual 1/2 oz Gold Eagle Coins, amounting to a total of 20 Troy oz of 22-karat gold.
Obverse
On the obverse of the 2024 American Gold Eagles, you’ll find Augustus Saint-Gaudens’ iconic 1907 portrait of Liberty. Lady Liberty is depicted in a full-length figure, with sun rays and the U.S. Capitol Building in the background, encircled by a ring of stars. She carries an olive branch in one hand and a torch in the other.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2024 1/2 oz Gold Eagle Coins features a modernized image of the American bald eagle. Created in 2020 by Jennie Norris, this depiction of the bald eagle’s head in left-profile relief was introduced on these coins in 2021.
History
When the United States Mint introduced the Gold Eagle Series in 1986, it made all four denominations currently available. The 1/2 oz Gold Eagle typically has lower demand compared to the others, but it remains an affordable option for those interested in investing in gold bullion coins.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
