All 2024 1 oz Australian Platinum Lunar Dragon Coins are available for purchase in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. They come securely encased in acrylic capsules and feature a special P125 mint mark on the reverse, commemorating the 125th anniversary of Perth Mints establishment.
Obverse
On the obverse side of the 2024 Australian Platinum Lunar Dragon Coins, you’ll find a detailed portrait of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. This design, crafted by Jody Clark in 2015, portrays Her Late Majesty at the age of 89, adorned with the George IV State Diadem.
Reverse
Turning to the reverse, the 2024 1 oz Platinum Lunar Dragon coin showcases an exquisite image of the Chinese dragon. The mythical creature is depicted in a graceful S-shaped pose with stylized waves and fog in the background. Alongside the P125 mint mark, you’ll notice a micro-engraved security feature on this side.
History
In Chinese culture, the dragon holds a special place as one of the 12 animal signs in the Chinese Zodiac, which is based on the lunar calendar. Each year is associated with a specific animal, and the Year of the Dragon is among these 12 years. Those born in the Year of the Dragon are believed to inherit the dragon’s unique traits and characteristics.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
