Each 2024 1 oz Mexican Silver Libertad Coin available at BGASC comes in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, carefully packaged in protective plastic flips. The obverse design on this 1 oz coin is unique, as it includes all 10 historic versions of the Mexican coat of arms, a feature not found on the smaller fractional coins, which only display the modern seal.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2024 Mexican Silver Libertad is adorned with the national coat of arms of Mexico. This design, originating from the Codex Mendoza in 1524, shows a golden eagle grasping a serpent in its beak and talon while perched on a prickly pear cactus. Surrounding the central image are 10 historic versions of this emblem, accompanied by a wreath of oak and laurel.
Reverse
On the reverse side of the 2024 1 oz Silver Libertad, youll find the powerful image of Winged Victory, inspired by the ancient goddess Victoria. She stands atop the Mexican Independence Victory Column, holding a laurel wreath high in her right hand and broken chains in her left. The background showcases the majestic peaks of Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl.
History
The 1 oz Mexican Silver Libertad is the most sought-after coin in the entire Libertad series. In its early years, the coin quickly became popular, with eight out of the first nine years reaching mintages of over 1 million coins. The 1985 release had an impressive mintage of 2.017 million, and the 1992 issue remains the record-holder with 2.458 million coins produced.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days.
