Each 2024 1 oz Reverse Proof Mexican Silver Libertad Coin is delivered in a protective plastic capsule. The reverse-proof design includes frosted backgrounds with mirrored details. This series has had a limited mintage, with the highest number of coins being 1,500 sold in 2018 and 2023.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2024 Reverse Proof Mexican Silver Libertad features the Mexican coat of arms, showing 11 variations, with the modern emblem displaying a golden eagle in relief fighting a serpent.
Reverse
On the reverse side of 2024 1 oz Reverse Proof Silver Libertad Coins, you’ll find Winged Victory, the statue at the top of the Mexican Independence Victory Column in Mexico City, with Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl visible in the distance.
History
The Mexican Libertads are designed based on the Centenario gold coin. The Gold Centenario had a face value of 50 pesos, although its actual worth is much higher due to its gold content and collectible status. It contains 37.5 grams (1.2057 troy ounces) of .900 fine gold, making it one of the larger gold coins of its time. The coin measures 37 mm in diameter and has a reeded edge, adding to its distinctive appearance and feel.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
