Obverse
The obverse of these 2024 Una and the Lion Silver Bars showcases the enchanting image of Una and the Lion. Una, portrayed in left-profile relief, gently embraces the lion, symbolizing strength and virtue, while the majestic lion stands as her guardian.
Reverse
Flip the10 oz Una and the Lion Silver Bar over, and you’ll find the hallmark symbols alongside the Latin inscription “DIRIGIT DEUS GRESSUS MEOS,” translating to “MAY GOD DIRECT MY STEPS,” as originally engraved by Wyon on the 1839 coin.
History
“The Faerie Queene” leads readers through a fantastical realm where noble knights embody various virtues in their quests, portraying timeless themes of chivalry and the eternal struggle between good and evil. Spenser’s use of the Spenserian stanza, a nine-line verse form with a rhyme scheme of ababbcbcc, is one of the poem’s most notable stylistic features. This intricate stanzaic form, along with Spenser’s rich language and imagery, influenced later poets such as John Milton and Alexander Pope.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
