Obverse
On the obverse side of the 2024 Proof British Silver Tudor Beasts The Seymour Unicorn Coin, you’ll find a striking portrayal of King Charles III. This extraordinary design, crafted by Martin Jennings in late 2022, marks the first-ever bust of Charles III. The portrait features a left-profile relief and notably lacks a crown.
Reverse
The reverse side of the coin proudly displays the Seymour Unicorn, capturing the essence of this unique creature. Like the other Tudor Beasts, this heraldic symbol was originally sculpted at Moat Bridge into Hampton Court. King Henry VIII bestowed this emblematic beast upon his third wife, Jane Seymour, the only Tudor monarch’s wife to bear a surviving son.
History
While the unicorn holds historical significance as a heraldic beast associated with Jane Seymour during the Tudor era, it continues to hold a special place in British heraldry. Since the 1603 union of England and Scotland, the unicorn has been a prominent element in the Royal Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom. Within the coat of arms, the unicorn, along with the lion, serves as one of the supporters. The unicorn symbolizes Scotland, while the lion represents England, signifying the unity of these two kingdoms under a single monarch.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
