Morgan, a talented British engraver, this coin became a symbol of the era. In 2021, the United States Mint reintroduced the Morgan Dollar design for collectors, and today, the 2024-S Proof Morgan Silver Dollar Coins are available at BGASC.

Obverse
On the obverse of the 2024-S Proof Morgan Dollar, youll find George T. Morgans portrayal of Lady Liberty. This left-facing profile of Liberty features her wearing a Phrygian cap, a laurel wreath, and a coronet crown, surrounded by 13 stars.
Reverse
The reverse side of the 2024-S Proof Morgan Silver Dollar features the heraldic eagle design by Morgan. The American bald eagle is depicted with its wings spread wide, clutching arrows and an olive branch, symbolizing both war and peace.
History
The Morgan Dollar was initially created in large quantities to support silver as a monetary standard, under the Bland-Allison Act, which required the US government to buy silver and mint it into coins. Eventually, the Morgan Dollar was replaced by the Peace Dollar, a coin designed to celebrate the peace following World War I.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
