{{/presale}}The British Britannia Series began its journey at The Royal Mint in 1987, originally featuring only gold bullion coins. Silver coins joined the series in 1997, and two decades later, platinum coins were introduced, expanding the collection further. BGASC now offers the 2025 1 oz British Platinum Britannia Coins.
Highlights:
The 2025 1 oz British Platinum Britannia Coins come in protective packaging, starting with plastic flips for individual coins. Larger quantities will arrive in acrylic tubes of 5 to 10 coins, or in a box holding 100 coins. These coins are all in Brilliant Uncirculated condition and feature several security enhancements on the reverse, such as a motion texture wave pattern, a latent security image, micro-text surrounding the design, and tincture lines on the Union Jack.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2025 British Platinum Britannia features a portrait of King Charles III, designed by Martin Jennings in 2022. This image shows the King in a left-profile view without a crown.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2025 1 oz Platinum Britannia Coins showcases the timeless figure of Britannia. Designed by Philip Nathan in 1987, Britannia is depicted in full-length wearing a Corinthian helmet. In her right hand, she holds a trident, while her left hand carries an olive branch and rests on a Union Jack shield.
History
Britannia has been a strong symbol of British heritage for centuries. Though she may not be as prevalent in daily life today, her image remains a respected emblem on coins and in other formal representations, connecting people to Britains long and storied past.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
BGASC is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
