These $2 Federal Reserve Notes are fresh and uncirculated, modified by the Merrick Mint to include striking golden hologram effects on the obverse side to celebrate the Year of the Snake. They are packaged in a red-themed currency envelope and come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Obverse
On the obverse of the $2 Year of the Snake Golden Hologram Snake Legal Tender Notes, youll find a profile portrait of President Thomas Jefferson. This depiction, inspired by an 1805 painting by Gilbert Stuart, features Jefferson facing left against a simple background. This side has been enhanced with red colorization and adorned with two snakes featuring a golden hologram finish.
Reverse
The reverse design of the 2025 Year of the Snake Golden Hologram Snake Legal Tender Note showcases a detailed reproduction of John Trumbull’s iconic painting, “Declaration of Independence,” displayed in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda.
