Each coin in this 2025 Proof 60th Anniversary Silver Maple Leaf 5-Coin Set is encapsulated for protection, presented in a black box, and includes a Certificate of Authenticity. The set contains five coins, with weights of 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, 1/10 oz, and 1/20 oz silver.
Obverse
The obverse of each coin showcases Arnold Machins well-known portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, first introduced in 1965. This second-generation portrait has a special connection to the Canadian flags introduction and is a significant part of this commemorative set.
Reverse
On the reverse of each coin, youll find Marie-Elaine Cussons classic sugar maple leaf. The 1 oz coin is unique with a red colorized maple leaf, symbolizing one of Canadas national colors. Additionally, the commemorative dates “1965-2025” are inscribed on the reverse of each coin, with a special 60th-anniversary maple leaf privy added to the 1 oz coin.
History
Before adopting its current flag in 1965, Canada flew several other flags, such as the Canadian Red Ensign, due to its ties to the United Kingdom. The red maple leaf on the Canadian flag is now a beloved symbol of Canadian heritage, reflecting the country’s natural beauty and commitment to values like diversity and inclusivity.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
